Aldi Hours For 2022 – What Time They Open and Close

Aldi hours are our focus here. We’ll be taking a look at what time they typically open the average stores and when they close. There’s a little bit of variation among closing times, like some close at 7, 8, 9, and even 10 pm. It’s important to know the hours in case you see a deal that’s too good to miss in the weekly ad and need to get there in time.

Aldi Hours: Opening Times

All stores typically open at 8:30 or 9 am. The company is opening quite a few new ones during 2022 and you never know if they’ll be testing out different operating hours, but the average will probably stay around those two times for opening.

Closing Times

Closing times, as mentioned, can vary between 8, 9, or even 10 pm. Many Aldi stores close at 8 pm, though. You can double check the hours with their store locator tool here.

Aldi Sunday and Holiday Hours

Aldi’s hours on Sunday can be different in some locations, however, they are usually 9 am to 8 pm where we’re at. That can also vary, and the hours could be 8 am or 8:30 am for opening and it could close between 8, 9, or 10.

I wish that my local store was open until 10 on Sundays! Or at least 9 on weekdays. The amount of times that I’ve rushed there to try and get something at 8:45 pm on a Tuesday or Wednesday would make your head spin.

Holiday Aldi Hours

Aldi stores are typically closed on New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday (except for California & Arizona stores), Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

There are usually limited Aldi hours on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Special Hours

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aldi stores open at 8:30 am and the first hour is reserved for anyone who might have difficulty shopping during a normal crowd. That includes those who are vulnerable, seniors, expectant mothers, health compromised shoppers and others.
